Call the Fire Brigade

I have previously built rail-bus models using parts of 1970's, Japanese made, model car radios...

These are sometimes available on eBay, usually not in working order, but that doesn't matter as I cut them up and

throw away the radio parts anyway.

My rail-bus conversions have turned out to be unusual and attractive models and add something to my quirky

railway. As soon as I saw this model I knew what could be made from it, so out came the screwdriver and saw!

The green parts are my new additions of Plastikard, the rest is mainly the original chassis, apart from the front end

and under the running boards. With a spray coat of grey primer the vehicle begins to take on a new life...

It shouldn't be too difficult to guess what it is by now, so here are some more clues...
